She brings a rare blend of entrepreneurial grit and deep search expertise, including utility patents she's successfully licensed, that gives her an operator's lens on what it actually takes to build and scale a business. Her client roster spans the full spectrum, from globally recognized luxury and heritage brands to high-growth startups and digitally native consumer companies.
Durga started her career on the agency side before being recruited by her client to serve as their Head of Talent Acquisition, which tells you everything you need to know about how she builds relationships. She returned to search with a sharper focus on the commercial, creative, and operational leaders that drive brands forward.
She holds a bachelor's degree from Cornell University with a concentration in business, textiles, and apparel, a background that turns out to be pretty on-brand for the work she does today.
Outside of work, Durga is kept very busy by her husband, twin boys, and little girl, and loves channeling her designer roots into arts and crafts projects with the kids. A proud Chicagoan, she somehow convinced her born-and-bred NYC husband to make the move out to the suburbs of Connecticut…the jury is still out on whether he's fully on board, but luckily the kids love it!
