Alexis Gabel Devaiah is a Partner at Flatiron Search Partners, specializing in early to growth stage Consumer. She recruits C-suite executives and board members, including CEOs, COOs, CMOs, CFOs, and investors, for high-growth companies and established brands.
Alexis has extensive experience working directly with venture capital and private equity firms, placing both investors and operational leaders within their organizations and portfolio companies. Her client work spans emerging managers, multi-strategy global VCs, early and growth-stage consumer tech companies, and public consumer brands. Alexis brings a unique perspective shaped by her experience as an operator, combined with her years as a search professional serving both consumer companies and investment firms.
Prior to joining Flatiron Search Partners, Alexis spent multiple years at SPMB Executive Search on both the Consumer and Investment Practices where she merged the two ecosystems across early and growth stage. She also worked at ForceBrands where she focused on CPG search in both developed and emerging categories. Her early career was spent as a marketing and retail operator in luxury goods and boutique fitness.
A native New Yorker, Alexis earned her B.A. from Colgate University and now lives in Denver. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her family, chasing her daughters at the playground, and attending concerts at Red Rocks.
